How To Optimize and Increase your Website speed

Introduction

In this blog, I will show you how to optimize a WordPress website and increase its performance. WordPress is a CMS built in PHP which is the most popular CMS among all PHP CMS. CMS basically stands for Content Management System which helps us to build a website. Creating a website is so easy with the use of WordPress and one advantage is that WordPress optimization is also so easy. WordPress provides us with plugin functionality. And there are lots of plugins that give us a good result for optimization.

Basically, the following are the main points that are very helpful in optimizing a WordPress website:

  •  Minification
  •  Gzip Compression
  •  Lazy loading
  •  Reduce requests
  •  C.D.N.
  •  Construction of Cache
  • Use the Autoptimize plugin

Minification

It is basically the process of removing WhatsApp in our HTML, CSS and JS file. As your site grows, you will need to add more content and tools to the site, which can slow down the site.

One way to deal with this problem is to use usage. This is the process of compressing some files (such as CSS, JavaScript, and HTML files) to reduce their size without affecting their functionality, and one of the best things about minimization is that you need to code more for mining. Is not.

Gzip compression

Gzip compression is the process of binding data in our files. It basically collects chunks of data and makes them smaller. This is relevant for web apps and websites because the HTTP protocol includes the ability to send gzip data. This means that when the traveller visits your site, the site files will be smaller and the bandwidth will also be less.

Lazy loading

When a user opens your webpage, the entire page or entire page content will be downloaded and also rendered. Through this, the browser will cache for the webpage. And there is also no guarantee that the user will actually see all the downloaded page content.

Lazy loading is that when a user opens your page, only the part that is first visible by the user at a time will load other page content when the user scrolls down to the page that manages cache and bandwidth Emerald will be very useful for

Reduce request

Another important part of optimization is to reduce the request of files i.e. reduce the request of CSS and JS files because when a website loads it requests files to load if there are many files to request. The request will be more than it will take less time.

CDN

CDN is the best part of the website. Originally, CDN is primarily for the content delivery network used for application services (such as cloud-based services from Google or Microsoft). The CDN also basically takes our files like CSS and JS images and serves the CDN network which also reduces the load time of that file.

Create cache

Cache creation is the process of building cache in the user system and serving our files from the cache. It automatically loads faster when files are served directly from the cache and improve website performance.

Use the Autoptimize plugin

Autoptimize makes optimizing your site really easy. It can aggregate, minify and cache scripts and styles, injects CSS in the page head by default but can also inline critical CSS and defer the aggregated full CSS, moves and defers scripts to the footer and minifies HTML. You can optimize (and even convert to WebP) and lazy-load images, optimize Google Fonts, async non-aggregated JavaScript, remove WordPress core emoji cruft and more. As such it can improve your site’s performance even when already on HTTP/2! There is extensive API available to enable you to tailor Autoptimize to each and every site’s specific needs.

These are the main optimization key points if we follow these will obviously improve the performance of our website and the user feels good to read our services. Because there are so many websites on the web, the competition was tough and a user may not have the patience to wait for the website to load if it takes longer then the user will close that window.

And I do a w3 total cache plugin to do all this stuff which helps more to optimize the site as it is all built into options for all these key points.
